Simon Kjellstrand earned his law degree from Lund University after also studying criminology at Mid Sweden University and participating in an exchange program at the University of Western Australia. After more than a decade of experience, including service in the courts, the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, and law firms – including nearly eight years at one of Stockholm’s leading criminal defense firms – Simon founded Advokatfirman XXV.
With his expertise in forensic science, Simon also gives lectures on the subject to lawyers and law students.
Simon accepts assignments as defense attorney (including cases regarding economic crimes), counsel for the injured party, special representative for children in criminal cases, as well as acting as counsel in cases involving compulsory treatment (under the Care of Young Persons Act, the Care of Substance Abusers Act, the Psychiatric Care Act, and the Care of Persons with Severe Disabilities Act). In addition, he accepts assignments as legal counsel in cases regarding sports law.
